Forward an email
From the Gmail app on your phone

- Tap the ⋮ menu and choose “Forward”

Forward automatically
A Gmail filter forwards the emails of a shop or a supplier on its own. You can only create it from Gmail in the browser, because the Gmail app on the phone has no filters
Add the forwarding address
- In Gmail open the settings with the gear and choose “See all settings”
- Open “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” and choose “Add a forwarding address”
- Write your address, then choose “Next” and “Proceed”
Confirm the address
- Gmail sends a confirmation to your address and we receive it for you
- In the app, in “Forward order emails”, tap “Confirm on Gmail” and, on the Gmail page that opens, choose “Confirm”
- Reload the Gmail settings to see the confirmed address
Create the filter
- In the Gmail search bar open the search options
- In “From” write the address of the shop or supplier, then choose “Create filter”
- Tick “Forward it to”, choose your address and create the filter
- If Google asks you to verify it’s you, follow its steps
For seven days Gmail shows a notice that your filters are forwarding some of your email, and that’s normal
To stop
Delete the filter in the Gmail settings, or remove your address from “Forwarding and POP/IMAP”
You can also turn forwarding off in the app, in “Forward order emails”
