Terms of service — Bucklet

These are the terms of service of Bucklet, during a closed trial. They are a draft written by the people building the product: a lawyer will review it before the public release.
You're in a trial, not the finished product
This version is free, in a closed trial on Android, with a limited number of people. Features, usage limits and plans may change without notice, and data entered during the trial may be reset before the public launch: don't trust this version with data you cannot afford to lose.
Your account
You need an account to use Bucklet. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings.
Minimum age
You must be 18 or older to use Bucklet. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
Your data stays yours
The transactions, accounts and photos you record stay yours. You can export them at any time. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising. In a shared bucklet a transaction also belongs to the other members: if you leave or delete your account, your share of the shared transactions remains visible to them.
The artificial intelligence proposals
Receipt photos, dictated text and shared expenses are read by an artificial intelligence model, which can make mistakes. An uncertain reading stays for review; a very confident reading becomes a transaction on its own, and you can always correct or delete it. If you prefer to review everything, turn off automatic confirmation in settings. Check important transactions before acting on them.
Acceptable use
You use Bucklet for your own finances and those you voluntarily share with other members of a bucklet. You do not use the service for unlawful activity, to upload content that isn't yours, or to bypass the plan's limits. You do not upload unlawful, violent or sexual photos, or images that have nothing to do with your expenses.
If the filters of our artificial intelligence providers block two of your photos within 30 days, photo reading is suspended for 7 days, and for a photo with prohibited content it is suspended at once until we review the case.
Limits of liability
Bucklet helps you record and read your expenses: it does not offer financial or investment advice. The service is provided «as is», particularly during the closed trial: always check important transactions before acting on them.
Changes to these terms
If they change substantially, we tell you inside the app before you have to accept them again.
